Dol, Holi Security : Arrested about 350, transport act imposed on other 300.

Dipankar Edbar,Kalyani: In order to keep the Dol and Holi festival orderly & healthy following the Dol and Holi, since Purnima, Police of Ranaghat Police District had initiated the Naka Checking at different areas since two days before. It led to the arrested of huge persons and the fine to a good number of helmet less bikers.

Ranaghat police Administration stated that during the last three days till Dol Purnima and Holi, they arrested 352 people.The cases are being investigated.

Police said that around 300 bike riders were fined under the State Transport Act for riding bikes without helmets.
